火曜日エライザと一緒にスタートレックという番組を見ました。一人での人物はデタというアンドロイドだ。彼は最初から人間になりたがっている。彼はいつも人間の台詞がわかってみるが、本当の意味が彼に分かりにくい。3番目のシソンの「デジャQ」という話で別の好きな人物がいた。Qさんは神様みたい。しかし他の神様たちはQさんの力を盗んで、普通な人間になされた。
もちいろんQさんは結構怒っていて、デタさんに文句を言っていた。デタはすごく面白い返事をした。デタは「面白い、僕が励んでいる事を、あなたは顔汚しで出来た。」と言った。こういう訳でスタートレックが好きだ。毎話ではなくても時々考えさせるエピソードがある。僕は時々失敗をするけれど、僕はいい人生がある。沢山人は僕の人生が欲しいと思う。失敗しても出来た事を忘れないね。

On Tuesday Eliza and I watched the show Star Trek. One character is and Android named Data. From the start he has been wanting to become human. He tries to understand human phrases, but the true meaning is very difficult for him to grasp. In the third season the episode ‘Deja Q’ has another character I like. Q is like a god. However, other gods had stolen Q’s powers from him and made him a regular human.
Of course Q was very upset about this, and he was complaining to Data. Data had a fantastically interesting response. “Interesting, you have achieved in disgrace what I have been striving for all my life,” he said. This is why I like Star Trek. Not all the stories, but sometimes there are episodes that make you think. I sometimes make mistakes, but I have a great life. There are a lot of people who are wishing for a life like mine. Even though I make mistakes I should not forget the things I have accomplished.
